Silver Beach Playground Project Gets Boost From Berrien Community Foundation

The Berrien Community Foundation awarded an $81,000 For Good Grant to the Berrien County Parks Department for a new playground at Silver Beach County Park.

The park has been raising funds to replace the 30-year old playground with something more modern and accessible.

The fundraising goal is $1.25 million.

The county has received an $850,000 grant from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
